This is the moment FARC rebels in Colombia fire at an army helicopter and try to shoot it down after robbing and ransacking a bank.
The first piece of footage shows the Colombia army helicopter narrowly avoiding being shot down while being targeted by Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) rebels, according to local media.
The second and third pieces of footage show the bank after it was reportedly attacked by the FARC and robbed.
The images were reportedly filmed in the municipality of Jambalo, in the western Colombian department of Cauca.
The images were shared online by social media accounts purporting to belong to the FARC, along with a statement saying that their goal was to demonstrate a show of force in order to force a ceasefire with the government.
Colombian media reported that military personnel were deployed to the area to secure it and that there have been confrontations between FARC members and National Army soldiers.

The FARC reportedly took aim at a “loud-mouthed” government minister, who local media say is the Colombian Minister of Defence, with the FARC quoted as saying: “We will see if our gestures of peace and our demand for a ceasefire are synonymous with weakness, as a loud-mouthed minister and the Creole oligarchy, who press for militarist solutions, are saying while kneeling before the US Southern Command.”
The Colombian Minister of Defence is currently Iván Velasquez Gomez, 68.
Local authorities in Jambolo said that fighting broke out at around 4 am on Sunday, with the police first clashing with the FARC before the army was called in, forcing the FARC to withdraw, although they continued to fire on military helicopters.
Two police officers were reportedly injured in the clashes.
