Blonde Brazilian beauty Ana Akiva shocked her 120,000 Instagram followers when she gave up modelling and joined the Fuxico Gospel church.

The former Miss BumBum model, who found God and became a preacher, has now said: “They want to silence me, but they won’t be able to. I’ve already opened a new profile and I’m not giving up. More than resuming my career as a model, my fight now is against abusive relationships.

“I know I’m messing with powerful people, who run big churches, but I’m not afraid. I decided to break the silence.”

Ana, wearing demur ankle-length robes, often preached alongside her husband Youssef Akiva after turning to religion in 2015.

Now, she says, she has ditched both of them to take up selling raunchy snaps on the adult platform OnlyFans.

Ana, 36, blames church corruption for turning her off religion but told local media she feels closer to God than ever.

She said: “I believe that making sensual content does not diminish me as a daughter of God or as a person, but out of respect for God, I decided to step away from religious leadership and the title of pastor.

“I began to see that it is a corrupt environment, it is even worse than the secular world, because there they are preaching one thing and living another.

“Not all of them, but a large part is corrupt.”

Ana, who also works as a flight attendant, also blamed her husband for trying to tie her down.

She said: “When I was married, he forbade me to work outside the home and have friends. He lived for his family and his church.

“It’s difficult to be happy next to someone who controls your life and who never builds you up, who calls you rubbish, spits in your face, many women go through this in the church and suffer in silence just like me.”

Ana added: “It is increasingly common to hear reports of women being victims of narcissists who hide behind religion.

“The church is a safe place for the abuser, because there he can put his plan into practice using the word of God.

“Some verses talk about submission, obedience and silence. I suffered for a long time, forgiving all the abuse because I felt that it was my obligation.”

But Ana has not ruled out going back to church one day, saying: “One day I can go back to church, I have faith in God.”
