This is the mugged-off moment when a man on his way home from a police station after reporting a robbery is held up again by armed bandits and he shows them the police report to prove he has nothing left to steal.
The stunned victim, not named by local media, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, had just given a police statement about being mugged earlier in the night and still had the paperwork from the cops as he got out of a taxi in the earlier hours of 7th December.
The video footage shows him being robbed at gunpoint by two crooks as he makes his way home in a taxi.
The gunmen force him out of the cab, but the fed-up victim waves his statement in their faces, saying: “I was just robbed, look at the police report.”
Despite two thorough friskings, the robbers find he has nothing left to steal but then mug the cab driver so they do not go home empty-handed before fleeing on a motorbike.
Local media reported that Brazil’s Civil Police are investigating both cases.
