This is the moment a 17-year-old car thief in a stolen Chevrolet Camaro is seized by police after a high-speed Fast and Furious-style chase.
The teen and another minor had pinched the distinctive bright yellow motor from a supermarket car park in Sao Bernardo do Campo, in the state of Sao Paulo, in Brazil, while the owner was shopping.
But within minutes, police had been alerted to the stolen muscle car on 2nd December and set up a massive chase through the city.
Video footage of the final moments of the eight-mile chase shows the 180 mph car boxed in by a dozen patrol cars as a police helicopter hovers above.
The driver was reportedly detained by the police and later sent to the Foundation for the Socio-educational Care Centre for Adolescents (CASA) in Sao Paulo.
Police did not name either the driver or his passenger.
Two rings, two cell phones, credit cards, a remote control, and a wallet were stolen along with the vehicle.
The police investigation is ongoing.
